I’m awfully pleased to announce that Eldercare Is Making Me Fat is now available for purchase at The Griffin Bookshop and Coffee Bar in downtown Fredericksburg. And (wahoo!) I will be signing copies there on Saturday, November 17, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
If you haven’t been to The Griffin, you have to go. It is a cozy, eclectic place right on Caroline Street in the heart of Fxbg, the ‘Burg, or Fred . . . whichever you prefer to call it. The entire shop is inventively packed floor-to-ceiling with new and used books, handcrafted jewelry and greeting cards, paintings, prints, intriguing memorabilia, comfy places to plop down, and now (in my excitement did I remember to mention?) Eldercare Is Making Me Fat.
Come, enjoy a cup of something delicious, browse around, and buy a copy–or two, or ten–of Eldercare. Several kind souls have suggested that it would be a perfect stocking stuffer for your mother, father, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, or dear friend who is overtaxed by taking care of an older parent. I’ll sign every copy with love, appreciation, and the promise of a good healing laugh. More details here . . .
